This weekly recreational group for home-school students is held during term time and led by Renee Snow, an encouraging facilitator who is also a published author. There are no grades or exams here, just lively discussions, reading performances, writing tips and exercises, editing lessons, and the opportunity to publish work in KSP's annual anthology.
Develop writing skills and meet new friends at the KSP Home-schoolers Writing Group.
How KSP's previous students describe Renee Snow:
* 'Totally tubular' * 'Nice' *
* 'Helpful, understanding' * 'Fun' *
* 'Very fabulous' * 'Friendly' *
Renee is a local Perth hills novelist. She served as Chairperson of the KSP Writers’ Centre for three years, and in that time she facilitated the youth writing program and formed the only organised romance writing group for adults in Western Australia. In her capacity as a KSP volunteer and community leader, Renee was nominated as a finalist for the 2014 Citizen of the Year. Her knowledge and passion for teaching the craft of writing in all forms - but not the way you learn in school! - makes her a wonderful facilitator for young writers.
