New agency seeking talented WA writers

May 23, 2016

Are you an undiscovered, talented writer from WA?

The Pen Factor is looking for YOU! We are about to embark on a national tour of writing and literature festivals across Australia in search for the best undiscovered writing talent across Australia. We are delighted to announce our first festival will be the upcoming Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival, June 3-5th.

Submit your 1,500 words of fiction before the conclusion of the festival to find out whether you are one of The Pen Factor’s top writers.

The Pen Factor is an online feedback and discovery engine. Our computer algorithm (affectionately known as Ophelia) interprets all the review data and uses it to identify talented writers. Every submission receives three independent, structured reviews in return for reviewing three others as part of the submission process.  The Pen Factor then shines a spotlight on great writing and offers awards and prizes to the most talented writers, including a full manuscript assessment from an external consultancy who act as talent scouts for a number of agents and publishers.

We are passionate about propagating a culture of respect and integrity to ensure our review process is supportive, constructive and beneficial for all.  The Top 25% of writers who submit a story or chapter get showcased on our Readers Page.  Each month we select an outstanding Writer to profile and promote on our website and social media accounts (with over 4,000 followers).

Submissions are currently free and unlimited, so get cracking!

Keep the dream alive! Keep writing!
