Friends of Katharine

The KSP Foundation is a registered charity. All donors are recognised as the Friends of Katharine.

With the support of these Friends, the KSP board of management is able to maintain and improve the heritage-listed Greenmount property, undertake special programs for writers and offer community events.

Thanks to a generous donation by KSP-member Flora Smith, the board recently commissioned a handsome Jarrah honour board to acknowledge all KSP's Lavender and Rose donors (not including monies received through grant bodies). This is on display at the Centre.

As Katharine Susannah Prichard cherished her wild, fragrant garden (note chapter in Katie Holmes' 2011 UWAP book: Between the Leaves: Stories of Australian Women, Writing and Gardens), so too do we cherish our donors. This is why we have named each donation tier after one of her favourite flowers.

To become a Friend of Katharine, you can make a tax-deductible online donation here, or post a cheque to 11 Old York Road, Greenmount WA (made out to the KSP Public Fund).
