Youth Program

The KSP Writers’ Centre is dedicated to developing and publishing work from young writers and thereby nurturing the next Andy Griffiths, Tim Winton or J.K. Rowling.

Our range of activities will suit youth aged 8-25 who want to further their career, meet other young writers and stretch their skills beyond what is delivered in the standard classroom environment. Whether you love writing and want to explore it further just for the fun of it, or you are seriously considering a career as a writer and want to hone the craft and learn about the publishing industry, KSP caters to all.

Every activity delivered by the KSP Writers' Centre is designed to inspire, teach and instil a life-long love of reading and writing, provide unique tips and insights into the professional life of a writer, and build confidence and a sense of pride.
