Venue Hire

A character building and historic landmark set in the beautiful Perth hills, the KSP Writers’ Centre provides a unique event venue available for public hire. The venue is free for members to use for book launches. Other events held by members at KSP will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and fees will apply.

Inclusions/Exclusions

KSP will not manage or organise publicity for private events held at the Centre, although we are happy to share your advertising through our social media channels by request, and you can also display posters on the community notice board.

Hirers must provide their own food/drinks, if applicable. Alcohol can be consumed but not sold on the premises.

Hirers are welcome to use the KSP equipment and furniture BUT MUST return everything in a working, clean and tidy state, with all furniture returned to its original position. Items that are broken must be replaced by the hirer (you must source/pay for the replaced item and bring it to KSP at your cost).

 

 

Costs

Financial members of the Centre can hire the venue for book launches at no charge, subject to availability. Fees apply to other events and for public hire. A bond amount may apply.

 

Please email the KSP office to enquire about availability, including a brief outline of your event, expected numbers, date and duration. This will be considered by the team and a charge will be proposed.
