We're pleased to announce our Emerging Writer-in-Residence for 2022: Josephine Taylor

Born in England, Josephine Taylor is a writer and editor now living in Perth, Western Australia. She is Associate Editor at Westerly Magazine and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Writing at Edith Cowan University.

Josephine first stayed at KSP to work through the first copyedits for her debut novel Eye of a Rook (published by Fremantle Press, 2021).

You might also know of Josephine from her #FridayCookBook posts on Instagram, where her current read finds a match with a favourite cake or pie.

Josephine is currently working on several personal essays begun under the mentorship of Heather Taylor-Johnson, as part of the Four Centres Emerging Writers Program which is supported by Culture and the Arts (WA) through Fremantle Press.

Josephine will be at KSP in February 2022.

The KSP residency program is brought to you with support from the Shire of Mundaring.
