The Thursday Night Group is the "one size fits all" writing group at the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre!

Whether you’re working on a series of short stories, the Great Australian Novel, a collection of personal poetry, your racy (or not so racy) memoir, a non-fiction essay or whatever else captures your fancy, you’ll be welcome at TNG. You will find no limits on genre or style, but will discover a happy band of fellow writers keen to engage in spirited and constructive discussion about their own and other’s work.

Each week, our members read out a selection of their writing with a view to receiving feedback in line with KSP’s Guidelines for Critiquing. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the collective aim is to help each other improve their writing … and get that piece finished!

The group also publishes an annual anthology for members to showcase their work and help stuff those Christmas stockings!

So, dust off those pages that have been loitering in your desk drawer, or retrieve that half-finished story from your laptop’s dimly remembered subfolder, and... come join the TNGers!

***Please note: Our members are keen, but sometimes “life” gets in the way and the numbers are such that the facilitator must cancel the session for that week.  If in doubt, email ahead and we’ll let you know.
