Our Collection

The KSP Writers’ Centre manages a non-profit community publishing imprint known as 'Wild Weeds Press' (WWP), which currently acts as the umbrella to publish annual KSP writing group anthologies and special in-house KSP publication projects, such as Blackboy Hill is Calling

The name 'Wild Weeds Press' is proudly derived from a poem written by Katharine Susannah Prichard,

dedicated to her adored late husband Hugo Throssell VC (1884-1933).

"To you, all those wild weeds
and wind flowers of my life,
I bring, my lord,
and lay them at your feet;
they are not frankincense
or myrrh
but you were Krishna, Christ and Dionysus
in your beauty, tenderness and strength."

If you are an author looking for hands-on assistance with publishing, we recommend the local Perth hills business Dragonfly Publishing. You may know Lisa and Rebekah of Dragonfly who worked for the KSP Writers' Centre as part of the Wild Weeds Press commercial trial between 2018-2021.

 If you are interested in becoming a Dragonfly client, please email: info@dragonflypublishing.com.au or visit their website: www.dragonflypublishing.com.au

Dragonfly Publishing will offer a special discounted deal on publishing services for current KSP members. Whether it’s a professional cover, interior formatting or editing, or help with navigation of the publishing process or the wide world of marketing and publicity, they can help.
